turtle28
Carson Strong showing off the mobility to avoid the sack and throws a strike for a completion, that was nice to see from him.

I don’t know how you can watch him show off mobility, watch him show his strength while avoiding sacks, he’s showing a strong arm, throwing strikes & he showed off his ability to get through his reeds when he got to his 3rd read for a completion the one time when his OL gave him time to get through his progressions.

I just don’t think he will be a successful QB in the NFL. His talent won’t transition to the NFL. I might be wrong.

I just said he didn't do much passing compared to running. I'm allowed to like a player and criticize parts of their game as well.
turtle28
Bailey Zappe looks good out there too. Great route by the WR & Zappe threw him a dime.

On his rushing TD, he got up to 17 mph. He has a great arm, he’s accurate & athletic. I just don’t know what else you need to see.

You really don't see it with Howell?

He had a great last drive so I could be wrong. I'm looking forward to see him at the combine.

Because their OL was bad & their weapons weren’t as good, so that would explain a lot. Fields has this same problem though. Yeah, it’s from this year. But the point of the stat is that it’s designed to kinda take OL quality out of the equation, because it’s basically just keeping track of the percentage of how often you actually get sacked out of all the times that you get pressured. So it’s basically tracking how able you are to get the ball out on the occasions where your protection does break down to some extent. I also think Josh Downs is probably the best WR he’s had down there. Not the same as having all those guys, but it’s still better than lots of QBs get. MacDog
Potential or "upside" is a hard thing to determine. I think people see Howell and they See Baker Mayfield as his ceiling. I don't know how accurate that actually is.
taylor made
Carson Strong seems like he is pressing... even though he completed that pass to his TE. I would rank the QBs in this game so far: 1) Kenny Pickett 2) Malik Willis 3) Sam Howell 4) Desmond Ridder 5) Carson Strong (Haven't seen enough out of Bailey Zappe yet)

He looks like Baker so people see Baker.
