I don’t want him.

Why? He’s played great. I don’t know how you can watch him show off mobility, watch him show his strength while avoiding sacks, he’s showing a strong arm, throwing strikes & he showed off his ability to get through his reeds when he got to his 3rd read for a completion the one time when his OL gave him time to get through his progressions.

I just don’t think he will be a successful QB in the NFL. His talent won’t transition to the NFL. I might be wrong.

We’re watching NFL talent today. He shredded the ACC as a freshman & sophomore and this year almost all the production he had was solely on his shoulders.

On his rushing TD, he got up to 17 mph. He has a great arm, he’s accurate & athletic. I just don’t know what else you need to see.

Just my opinion. I wish him well but I rather see him on another team.

Is that a stat from last year?

Because their OL was bad & their weapons weren’t as good, so that would explain a lot. Fields has this same problem though.

Yeah, it’s from this year.

But the point of the stat is that it’s designed to kinda take OL quality out of the equation, because it’s basically just keeping track of the percentage of how often you actually get sacked out of all the times that you get pressured. So it’s basically tracking how able you are to get the ball out on the occasions where your protection does break down to some extent.

I also think Josh Downs is probably the best WR he’s had down there. Not the same as having all those guys, but it’s still better than lots of QBs get.

Potential or "upside" is a hard thing to determine. I think people see Howell and they See Baker Mayfield as his ceiling. I don't know how accurate that actually is.

I think people have a bad habit of comparing a QB to someone they look like. He looks like Baker so people see Baker.
