And yea, I'm pretty sure there are in fact a lot of players who have built up damage that requires surgery. Roethlisberger has had knee surgeries and been back on the field in two weeks. None of us knows the particulars of whatever injury Tuitt had in camp outside what was reported, but the details of the reporting did not support the notion that it was season ending knee surgery.
