Said procedure was reported to be "minor." Not season ending. And yea, I'm pretty sure there are in fact a lot of players who have built up damage that requires surgery. Roethlisberger has had knee surgeries and been back on the field in two weeks. None of us knows the particulars of whatever injury Tuitt had in camp outside what was reported, but the details of the reporting did not support the notion that it was season ending knee surgery.

Not weird at all. His mind and soul was damaged due to the tragic loss of his brother. There is no certain amount of time one should grieve or be able to fully return to their normal life after losing a loved one.

Also remember a few yrs before a former ND teammate also suddenly passed away
