  1. 1. Should Demarcus Lawrence be cut?

    • Yes. His production does not his price tag.

    • No. Cutting Tank would create too big of hole at DE despite price tag.

    • Wait until after the draft to decide.

idk…RG vs SF tackled more of their linemen than Grap or all ball carrier. Bizarre/ugly game from him. I think he could be headed in right direction, but I’m really hesitant about his contract, given everything with him and his late season collapse of sorts, which could be covid related.

Probably makes doing anything with DLaw a little more narrow.

I have been down on DLaw and his lack of real game changing plays for years. While he has been better maybe at setting the edge and attracting attention lately maybe I just don’t see the value of his contract and would rather draft a replacement in the first three rounds.  We have been good lately drafting DL see Gallimore and Oza. Armstrong also has shown he can produce also. Now might also be time to fully commit 3-4 any way and get a high quality LB who can rush like Parsons

Okay, after a full week and a very close vote, the forum has decided to make Tank our first cut.  Here’s the good news, by making Tank a June 1 cut, we have saved $19M on the 2022 salary cap.  We are now only $2M over the cap!!!  Here’s the bad news, right now our defensive ends are Tarell Basham and Chauncey Golston.  If we move Parsons to DE, it doesn’t quite look so bad.

Next up Tyron Smith

Except now teams can scheme for Parsons who is one place.  Bad move

If we cut tank (which I am okay with due to contract), and lose Randy, then we switch to a base 3 man DL, imo.
