I'm not trying to see us back as NFC south cellar dwellers again

And I swear , if Leftwich becomes our HC, that's exactly where we'll be

Because BA has been advocating for the guy for years. If he retires in the next year, Byron's getting the job whether we like it or not because BA is going to push hard for the Glazers to hire him ... and odds are high they'll agree.

Wow, for as much flak as everyone has given them throughout this process (including myself), the jags actually made a couple smart moves in bringing in Spielman to oversee the whole operation (I read he has final say on personnel matters over Baalke) and hiring Peterson as their HC. He's exactly what they need to help turn that culture around in the short-term. 

So glad he didn't go to the Saints.
