Washington isn’t quite as explosive but is more consistent and fumbles less. We will see who Chucky likes better. Hot take. After the 2017 season, you'd have said Richard was miles better than Washington. He (like most the offense) had a down year. Either way.... neither should be on the field often. The Raiders need to get better RBs.

Would you rather have Lynch and the twins another year or A FA like Crowell, Hyde or Darkwa and a draft pick like Freeman, Penny or Chubb. Option 2 - Give me youth and better depth over the long haul Anyone saying otherwise is a complete Lynch Oakland fanboy.
NightTrainLane
Yes. #2 I'd kick my dad in the nuts for Crowell and Penny or Freeman.

Isiah Crowell? no thanks.. completely under whelming. Duke Johnson is most talented back on the team imo.
RaidersAreOne
Yesssssss. Raiders just signed Shaquille Richardson, LB. He was with my fav CFL team the Calgary Stampeders last season and tore it up. He just multiplied his salar by 1000000%, even if he gets cut before the season starts. I don't know if he is good enough to make an NFL roster, but I will be rooting hard for him.
Bitty 2.0
What I remember of Gruden is that he liked to draft O-linemen.

What about an option #3: a FA to replace Lynch paired with twins? Probably my preference slightly ahead of option 2. -I, like a lot of others here, would prefer Lynch not return. My guess is he re-retires anyway but either way I’m tired of him. -Due to the Downing-Effect, I’m willing to give Wash and Richard another year. Neither of them is a starter, but I had high hopes that they both could be useful and productive players at the end of last season. Particularly Richard as a change of pace-receiving specialist. 2017 was a bad year for everyone on O. -The only FA RB that intrigues me is Hyde. He impressed me a lot this season. Particularly his receiving ability which to me bodes well to being a 3 down back in Gruden’s system. He was seemingly the only productive player on SF’s offense before Garropolo got there. Duke is talented. He is a great rec out of the back field. But Crowell has proven that he is a better runner 3 straight years. He and Hue butted heads so he didn't get the snaps he should have. It's not worth arguing over. He will go somewhere next year and light it up and prove me right barring injury.

Yeah there are a ton of ways we can go but i think we all know that the status quo isn't what we want or what Gruden is looking for from our running game. I like Hyde's game alot as well. The reason I didn't put him in the final post I had vs when I listed a few options was his past injury concerns. But this year he stayed relatively healthy so there's that. I just remember him from his time at with the Wildcats. Went to alot of there games in 2010-12. Anyhow, we can never go wrong adding more of them haha. oakdb36
I'd like to add Darkwa to the roster. Lynch should be cut. I don't really have an opinion on his impact on the team chemistry but his 2018 salary is just too high for his production. We should draft a RB as well and i would only keep one of Richard and Washington on the final roster. I don't see a need for 2 similar change of pace RBs. Rolni
Let Lynch retire. Get Crowell or Hyde. Draft a RB in the middle rounds. Let The Smurfs, the rookie and Hood battle for the #2 and #3 spots.
