AFC West is going to be a war zone. Yeah, with a lineup like that they could finish 2nd. Good times for Denver Bad times for Oakland.. And he’s got loads of talent to work with, that you never saw on full display with Lock/Bridgewater. Sutton, Jeudy, and Fant all have crazyyy potential. And Patrick is no sloutch. Gordon/Williams solid RB combo. Rodgers, Mahomes, Herbert, and… Derek. Carr. Jesus. If the Broncos want him they’re going to have to trade some of that talent, don’t you think? Packers aren’t going to just give Rodgers away.

Fresh Prince
I’m assuming Den would be asking for Jeudy in a trade for Rodgers. Give live some WR help if they lose adams

Broncos have no reason to play ball with the Packers who essentially have to trade Rodgers if he does not want to return.

If they are going to go full LAR and liquidate their immediate draft ammo by getting Rodgers--I dont know if they would like to compound that by giving up even more for DA. Its a 2 window, they should be as aggressive as possible, as they were for Manning and as the Bucs were for Brady.

It's pedal to the floor for 2-3 years, cap space be damned.

Also Brady and Manning were FA - not a comparable situation.

It'd be a cap hit next year of probably 40m for the two of them.
jonnguy2015
I wonder if the Raiders would be content rolling with Carr in a division with Mahomes, Herbert, and Rodgers or if they could try going all in for Wilson. He did include the Raiders on the list of four teams he wanted to be traded to last year and two of them(Bears, Cowboys) already have their guy, the Saints just became a lot less lucrative, and the Broncos would have traded for Rodgers in this scenario. Or maybe they decide to further improve their stellar PR by trading for the guy in Houston. Edited January 27, 2022 by jonnguy2015
