Well.......apparently they brought out Mike Shannahan as a closer and then audibled to a high quality mexican restaurant looool

As a guy who grew up in San Antonio, I can safely say this is the proper way to celebrate! I absolutely love Shanahan's but nothing beats a crapload of beans and cheese and Margheritas!... Just don't stay in the same hotel room after 😂😂

Yeah, with a lineup like that they could finish 2nd. Good times for Denver

Bad times for Oakland..

People have thought the Raiders will be last in the division the previous two years as well and they’ve finished ahead of two “better” teams both times…

Sigh. Rodgers is definitely going to the Broncos. And he’s got loads of talent to work with, that you never saw on full display with Lock/Bridgewater. Sutton, Jeudy, and Fant all have crazyyy potential. And Patrick is no sloutch. Gordon/Williams solid RB combo.

Rodgers, Mahomes, Herbert, and… Derek. Carr. Jesus.

If the Broncos want him they’re going to have to trade some of that talent, don’t you think? Packers aren’t going to just give Rodgers away.

NFL teams don’t really do talent for talent trades often. It’s usually Player for picks. Broncos have no reason to play ball with the Packers who essentially have to trade Rodgers if he does not want to return.

We shall see, as a poster pointed out--the broncos could always just keep Jeudy and not pay any more future draft compensation.

If they are going to go full LAR and liquidate their immediate draft ammo by getting Rodgers--I dont know if they would like to compound that by giving up even more for DA.

Its a 2 window, they should be as aggressive as possible, as they were for Manning and as the Bucs were for Brady.

Who ever trades for Rodgers is going to do the same as the teams that brought Manning and Brady in. It's pedal to the floor for 2-3 years, cap space be damned.

okay, but you are limiting your already limited pool of suitors even further because some teams that would want Rodgers would already have to play cap gymnastics just to fit him let alone about close to 19 mil for the WR tag.

Also Brady and Manning were FA - not a comparable situation.

Adams is younger, you can back load a deal, and you'd also extend Rodgers once you got him. It'd be a cap hit next year of probably 40m for the two of them.

I wonder if the Raiders would be content rolling with Carr in a division with Mahomes, Herbert, and Rodgers or if they could try going all in for Wilson. He did include the Raiders on the list of four teams he wanted to be traded to last year and two of them(Bears, Cowboys) already have their guy, the Saints just became a lot less lucrative, and the Broncos would have traded for Rodgers in this scenario.

Or maybe they decide to further improve their stellar PR by trading for the guy in Houston.
