I think those press conferences only further back up the point that Flus puts a real emphasis on teaching...all three of those guys clearly have that mind set and I would suspect the rest of the staff are the same...really positive sign for a team that must get younger after having the highest average age in the NFL last season.

It is a common denominator I have found in great coaches I have studied and known.

We have hired Carlos Polk as our assistant special teams coach.

Ha! He graduated from same HS as me and is like 2 or 3 years younger.

I think my dad may have coached him in middle school.

He played LB at Nebraska and in pros for awhile.  I didn't know he got into coaching.

He was in same class as my wife or one above it.   She was 4 years behind me.   She said he was a super nice guy.

Coaching staff is complete...interesting we are keeping the strength and conditioning staff as is.

Those guys were part of what George loved about Pace.    He loved the way Halas Hall ran.

They probably kept the nutritionist too I bet.

Well, I suppose it is not surprising they wanted their own people across board.

I am curious how many vet bigger money guys would rather follow their own system and diet and how much it conflicts with team hired guy's program and ideas.

You hear coaches grumbling about it from time to time over the years.
