Of course, Manning never had anyone close to a caliber of player such as Randy Moss or Rob Gronkowski.

Um, yeah he did. That's who Marvin Harrison was.

In addition, Brady played 1.5 seasons with Moss, so - as you would say - let's not get carried away here. Moss was merely a pit stop in Brady's career, he played more games with the TB WRs than he did with Moss.

yeah, you didn't watch him play, you are ignorant.

EJ was an all time great RB.

Peyton Manning played with an alltime great supporting cast in James, Harrison and Wayne.

I did watch him play. He only had above 4.4 y/c once (4.6), at that's playing against defenses that were terrified of being shredded by the pass.

Saying he's an all time great RB is a huge insult to Jim Brown, Walter Peyton, Barry Sanders, etc. He's not remotely close to those guys.

Maybe. But I would say in 50 years from now, when people look back on the history of the sport, Marino's 1984 season will be one of the single greatest accomplishments by any player. He was a revolutionary player that performed with a skill never before seen. He set a new standard for the position.

Some people may value that contribution more than Montana (who in was in some ways revolutionary as well, just not as jaw-dropping as Marino).

No it will not. It's been 40 years and it's still second fiddle to Montana's four Super Bowls.

No one will deny it was impressive, but Montana will always be seen as the king of 80's NFL because of those Super Bowls.

You have to be as good as Barry Sanders to be considered an all-time great?

Not that I would call Edge all-time great... but he was pretty damn good.

Yeah, and the only season Brady was ever truly dominant was with Moss.

There is no logical debate otherwise, there is no argument on anyone else - and anyone who argues otherwise needs to be dismissed as a contrarian.

Called it not even 24 hours ago... ah, FF.com, you are predictable if anything.

Brady would have snatched some of Peyton's MVPs/All-Pros if he got to play with Moss as long as Peyton did with Harrison.
