Munchak left to be with family...he wasn't fired by the Steelers. I don't see him coming back to be honest.

I agree with this. I can see taking a yr off or join a college team in the area to coach. their are other established OL coaches out there

He's going to be away from family unless he retires from coaching.

Put me in the camp who didn't fully buy the explanation that he just wanted to be closer to family. I'm sure it was a factor, but I think the internal drama with the team was a part of his decision, too. I think the locker room is much more manageable now.

Hey guys this seemed like the most logical place for this...how was Chris Morgan for you guys last year? Just been appointed Bears OL coach...thanks in advance for any info.

honestly don't know much since he was the assistant for most of the yr, before he took over late in the season. He reportedly impress our coaching staff with his opportunity and was well liked by the players.

Hard to say.  He didn’t take over until the end of the year when Klemm left.  Had our best running game of the year after he took over.  Not sure that tells the whole story.

100% with run game coordinator and asst head coach attached

Maybe somin like $3m a year. Revenue gotta be $400m+ a year.

What are we really talking about? Splurging $2m above replacement on a coach, versus that $2m split "in profit" some 10 ways or however the percentage of ownership may be

Doesn't it sound like the Bruce Arians was going to "retire" line? Next time might be Mike Tomlin wanted to gain "full operational control" of a franchise and the Steelers were unwilling to grant one man that much power.

It sounds like a line cut from the same cloth to me. I, too, believe it was an internal drama issue. But I'm not sure that internal drama has been resolved.

Last time, he took an unproductive line with 1st Rd investments in DeCastro and Pouncey and made them great. That would be where a discussion would end.

Dude, get a clue. The Bears are a disaster. You just hired Adrien Klemm.

Who? Exactly.
