There was actually never an incentive to injure IIRC.  No players actually want to injure another.  Lay a big hit, maybe take them out of the game with a big hit, but nothign serious.  Evans straight up acted like an 8 y/o that is losing at a board game and decided to flip the board.

Dont bother Raves... Sour puss fan that will never accept the real truth. Needs to be more concerned why the Bucs are consistently the most OVERRATED team EVER! LOL

I’m not going to defend Evans. He should be suspended as a result of that.

If you’re deliberately trying to take a player out of a game with a big hit, how is that different from deliberately trying to injure them? Why else would a player be sitting out? 

Justify it to yourself any way you like I guess. It doesn’t change the underlying facts.
