Has leonard made a statement yet? An apology to his coaches and teammates, anything?

I feel like a public apology statement would actually be in fairly poor taste in this instance.  We don't know exactly what happened, but we can surmise it was something selfish by Fournette blowing some stuff off, putting himself before the team.  He's served his penance, getting shame-filmed during that Bengals game broadcast half a dozen times.  Hopefully he's made his apology clear to his coaches and teammates and drives it home by not ever making that mistake again.

To grab the spotlight again for himself by doing some silly "public apology statement" or whatever, just seems completely counter to how this locker room has finally come together to handle their business as a tight-knight TEAM.  Let them handle it internally and move on imo.

Basically. Marrone said the team wouldn’t discuss it further, so that’s about it.

Some media member will probably ask Fournette about it because that’s what they do, and he’ll give some stock answer about how he’s just trying to move on and help the team going forward and that’ll be it.
