2d Mock w/Trade-Back

I have tried to think of a realistic scenario where the Lions trade out of the #2 pick based on the depth of the edge rusher class but unless someone believes they have to trade to to get Kenny Pickett or Malik Willis I don't see it happening.  The second first-round pick from the Rams is a different story.  That said, here is my take on a 3-round trade-back mock.

Scenario:  Baltimore trades back into the first round (pick 32).  We get picks 45, 76 and a 2023 pick

We re-sign Tracy Walker, Matt Nelson and Charles Harris

Bring in:  Hassan Reddick, Folunroso Fatukasi, Anthony Walker Jr and Jordan Whitehead

The Draft:

2.  Adian Hutchinson  DE--The BPA and a major need

34.  Jahan Dotson WR--A true vertical threat that will open up the passing game for Hockenson, Swift and St Brown.

45.  Desmond RIdder QB--We have no QB talent other than Jared Goff.  Having him slotted here is optimistic.  He will probably go earlier in the 2d Round.

66. Nik Bonitto LB--He is flying under the radar but would be a solid addition to our LB room.

76.  Christian Watson WR--He might be from North Dakota State but he has Kenny Golladay size and better speed.

Compensatory Pick:  Bubba Bolden--A good athlete that we can develop as our 3rd safety.  He should be a solid special teamer right off the bat.

Tear it up!!

Good effort!

Not a big fan of Desmond Ridder and the trade with Baltimore looks like a more of a means to draft him vs Baltimore actually wanting to move up.

Don't hate the rest of it. Pass rush should be good which I'm all for.
