J-ALL-DAY
Couldn't get Thybulle but glad this got done. Was time to move on. Harden needs to get healthier but damn the East is going to be a bloodbath in the playoffs. Nets line up with KD/Simmons at 4/5 is going to be super intriguing in the playoffs. bigbadbuff
Was hoping they’d get Maxey out of the deal. Oh well. Hopefully NYS changes some things and we get KD Simmons and Kyrie in the playoffs throughout.
11sanchez11
Very fun trade. Simmons adds the defense and athleticism BK needs. 76ers add the go to perimeter scorer the 76ers need (assuming Harden was tanking to get traded and not actually as bad as he has been this year). Two great fits. Tho bad fit for Simmons in the reg szn w/o KD and gms Kyrie doesn't play

Harden will need to play like he did for a stretch a few weeks back before Kyrie got hurt. If he does, then damn the 76ers are going to be super tough to beat. Heat, Nets, Bucks and 76ers?? Sheessshhhhh!!! There's going to be so many 7 game series out in the East.

sdrawkcab321
Congrats on getting fat old harden. I’m sure he’ll demand out of this when things get tough.

If they had one more defensive wing, I'd take them a lot more serious. They won't be an easy out either...Cavs may not be a threat but they have the talent and style of play where they will make you work for it as well. East is stupid stacked right now.

MKnight82
That’s a terrible trade for Philly.
DirtyDez
If Kyrie is eventually able to play home playoff games the Nets have the best roster IMO.

You don't just want to lose someone of Harden's talent, even if he isn't the same player he was in Houston. He may all of a sudden start getting healthier and get back to dropping 29/8/11 on good shooting with the 76ers though lol. Brooklyn needed another shooter which they got in Curry and needed Ben's defensive versatility and playmaking. Being on the Nets will also allow Simmons to play C in closing line ups in the playoffs which will help him out. This trade just makes the East tougher as the 76ers are now a LEGITIMATE title contender.
