Giants considering benching Eli Manning

Eli has not looked good for sure. But he's part of a bigger problem. Under Mcadoo as a head coach, we've never scored more than 29 points in a game. 24 games and not one have we hit the 30 mark. That can't be acceptable for an offensive minded head coach to put that product on the field.

Why not see what we've got in Webb? Although I'm not hopeful at all. He's just another guy.

I say that's where Kirk Cousins ends up next year. They will move on from Eli

Eli's pretty locked in due to his contract though. They don't have a realistic out from that contract until the year after. They can't afford to pay Eli and Kirk. And Eli has a full no-trade clause.

Say Denver came asking about Eli. Do you think he would not wave his "no trade clause".

No trade clause is only there so the player has a say if he wants to go to the asking team.

I know what a no-trade clause is, I'm just saying it makes it less likely they'll be able to move him. So if Cleveland comes calling, just for a hypothetical, they'd have no shot. It'd have to be a SB hopeful team like Denver, but even then, that's a lot of money for a QB even the Giants don't want.
