HerbertGOAT
In honor of him finally getting over the hump and getting his ring, I made a Matt Stafford Highlights video. Most clips are from Detroit just to establish that yes, he's always been pretty dang good. If this violates the rule regarding promotions, feel free to delete mods. Otherwise, enjoy!

He had a few miscues, but far more good than bad. He outperformed Burrow.

He threw a pick six and just didn't play that great. Kupp won MVP for a reason. I just think it's hilarious people dismiss Brady winning Super Bowls as a "team accomplishment", but when Stafford does it everyone is like "see, he just needed some help!" Stafford didn't throw a pick six? He threw an INT in the endzone to Van Jefferson. His other INT was a horrendous attempt on the ball by Skowrowneck. And also, Super Bowls are a team accomplishment 100%. Stafford is the same QB he was in Detroit. Put a good supporting cast around him, he can win. Football is a team game. The QB doesn't have more to do with winning a game than the rest of the 52 guys on the roster combined.

Stafford had an average performance. Sums up his career: average.

It's almost like wins aren't a QB stat. I don't think the guy who was the QB for 2 of the most prolific receiving seasons ever, has a 5000 yard season, and led the Lions to the playoffs multiple times is average.
Chargers
I'm so happy for Stafford, I can't count the number of times I've said he is a SB caliber QB. Just needed the coaching staff and playmakers. His talent at the position was always undeniable. The next goal for Stafford will be can he possible turn his HoVG career to a HOF career, and maybe win a few more SBs.

I just think it's hilarious people praise Brady as being the GOAT for winning Super Bowls, but when Stafford does it everyone is like "its a team accomplishment" Seriously, what kind of stupid world is a person living in that they think Brady is under-recognized

Stafford also outplayed Tom Brady by such an absolutely wild margin that despite the Bucs getting 4 free turnovers that saved at a minimum 21 points the Rams still won. that’d a game where Stafford had to outplay Brady by 3+ touchdowns worth of value and he did it. I think almost anybody loses that game given the awful luck the Rams had.

Beating Jalen Ramsey deep on a 3-play 78 yard drive after a punt is turnover luck now? Are you saying that 35 yards equals 3+ TDs worth of value? Bucs called a stupid zero blitz and had a miscommunication. Stafford made a great throw to take advantage. Everything else is BS. The Rams were -2 on turnovers in a playoff game. Tampa only scored after 2 of those 4 turnovers. It was not some national tragedy that they had to overcome.

One was an extremely stupid and bad throw that gave the Rams great position before half to bury the Bucs, they were bailed out by a fumble that had nothing to do with Stafford Brady also fumbled because he held the ball too long and got swallowed giving the Rams great field position. A botched snap on the next play ended up betting the Bucs amazing field position. Another Brady mistake he was bailed out on that had nothing to do with Stafford in addition Kupp fumbled in scoring range, Akers fumbled giving the Bucs amazing field position, and the Rams kicker missed an easy FG. 5 lucky breaks all in Brady’s favor. Didn’t matter though because the gap between Stafford and Brady’s play was somehow bigger than the luck gap in Brady’s favor.
