ochocinco4pres
I get they paid Waynes decent money, but I don't see them paying Jackson. I think Sydney Jones is more in our wheelhouse. As for Booth, I would be a fan at 31. I think he can be an elite corner.
sparky151
Booth or another CB would be fine at 31 or 63. As long as we're not looking for a starting O-lineman.

The only starting olineman that could possibly be there at 31 that I would want would be Zion Johnson, and in that case, let him battle it out with Spain in training camp after having secured a LG (Tomlinson?), C (Jensen/Bozeman), and a RT (Moses/Reiff/other). Zion could be BPA at 31 over a CB, and I expect 5 CB to get picked before 31.
sparky151
We should take a look at Jeff Gladney. He was the Vikings first round pick in 2020 but was cut last year when indicted for assaulting a woman. He was acquitted at trial this week and is now a free agent. He can redeem himself somewhere else.

THE DUKE
I wonder how much it Artie Burns is looking for. First round pedigree, good size, graded well in limited snaps for Chicago last year. Maybe a cheaper young reclamation project?

I don't think I'd add someone with that history, acquitted or not.
sparky151
The team extended Joe Mixon who was in a similar situation.

Joe Mixon was a freshman in college with that, so they drafted him and he has been completelyout if trouble since. I wouldn't have drafted him either, but it was a regime that didn't put emphasis on character like the current one
THE DUKE
Artie Burns to Seattle on a 1 year $2 mil deal. I would have given him $3-$4 mil to be CB4 with some upside.

No impression beyond the childish name calling.
