netlfix might take a huge hit when Disney launches its streaming site in 2019...

Netflix has to be worried at this point. They will be living and dying on it's own original programming. With Disney having it's own streaming site, and they own Hulu too now, right?

believe they own like 60% of hulu

also a guy who works for Disney said the site will be cheap(like 5-8 a month in 2019) if they are telling the truth and use all of the properties they own now...watch out lol... the sky is the limit  with what they could do(a TV show in the alien/predator universe? why not) they already announced a star wars show. and honestly could see them buying netlfix sometime in the next decade tbh

Honestly, wouldn't be surprised if they form it in a way similar to a cable package. Different tiers that contain different things. I mean, they can provide live sports, disney movies and shows, fox....heck, they can probably even put Marvel in it's own package. Then Hulu as well, etc etc.

"It [Deadpool] clearly has been and will be Marvel branded. But we think there might be an opportunity for a Marvel-R brand for something like Deadpool," said Iger. "As long as we let the audiences know what's coming, we think we can manage that fine."

A little misleading. Fox is spinning off most all of its television stations to a new company. Disney gets the three FX stations and NatGeo. They have the back log of the shows you have listed above if they wish to put it on their streaming service (including some you dont list), however they do not have control of new episodes or where those episodes are broadcast. Fox remains in control of its own programming on Fox, Fox News, FSI, etc.

Disney controlling FX scares me somewhat... Easily one of the best channels out there as far as original programming goes... Hopefully they don't mess with it too much.

Disney has been pretty good at making content for everyone...they just won't brand it as Disney.

I don't see any major disruption other than where the shows will reside with streaming services.
I wonder if the Disney service will have next day or even same day airing rights of the shows on it's channels.
While still making money on them from already signed deals on other platforms.

I wonder if Comcast is gonna buy Netflix now to compete.
