So is every other host team not named Jacksonville Jaguars. And their attendance almost guarantees them one, until Lawrence can fill the seats every game. They’ve also invested quite a bit in the UK with a flag football programme that’s made its way into schools and I think they’re quite closely tied in with the NFL Academy in London. All that effort and I only know of one Jags fan that lives here.
pf9
The London and Germany Games should be part of ABC's package and aired on Sunday mornings US time while the game in Mexico City airs on ESPN's MNF

Dr LBC
So, given that reason suggests they're not going to take a division home game away from Saints season ticket holders, New Orleans is going to get to play TWO games in stadiums resembling toilet bowls this season. (If you haven't seen an aerial view of Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, go take a look.) Also, NFCW plays the AFCW in the cross-division rotation for scheduling this season; what's the bet that the Mexico City game is the Cardinals/Raiders or Cardinals/Chargers... or possibly Cardinals/Chiefs (considering the MNF game that was supposed to be held last time in Azteca Stadium that got moved because futbol matches the week leading up to it obliterated the field surface was Rams/Chiefs that was then relocated to the Coliseum. FrantikRam
Stoked to see the Saints and Packers here. Time to just force rotate the teams each year to make every team lose a home game on a rotating basis

This is not accurate. There have been plenty of divisional games played in London before and there was an initial report a month ago which stated that the Saints were going to London to play a divisional game. It’ll almost certainly be the Panthers because the Bucs are in Germany and the Falcons went over last year.

It’ll almost certainly be the Panthers because the Bucs are in Germany and the Falcons went over last year. The league's concern, chiefly, is profitability. IIRC the Falcons game that was in London, the time before this-last, was during one of the seasons (the final one before, again, if I recall correctly) before they opened their new stadium. Now, it's entirely possible, that based off the fact that Arizona is the SB host for next season, they have no issue taking away an anticipated-profitable home game from them because they'll recoup (and the owners - by virtue of shared-revenue - do as well) the money - and probably severalfold-over. The thing is... the league isn't going to yank media-desirable games from the schedule to stick them on at 6am (PST) and 9am (EST) where there will be considerably less demand, so while I can see the Saints/Bucs game this season being less-desirable with Brady retiring and New Orleans' QB situation being up in the air, 1) Mexico City is PST (which at least 50% guarantees, to my initial argument, it's a primetime game, and 2) if it's not a PT game, it'll be in the 1pm PST slot which very heavily favors that it will be a Western Division vs Western Division matchup, particularly since one of the teams listed already is a WD team.
