Tk3
As a prisoner of the moment, I was genuinely putting both games in the top 5 in NFL history (at least top 5 non-Super Bowls). I actually still believe that might be the case. Raiders/Chargers still HAS to be among the top regular season games of all time, maybe even #1. The context matters. Final week of the regular season, both teams playing for the final playoff spot. The tie-game potential and potential collusion was unprecedented. But even without all that it was phenomenal. 2 TD lead in the 4th. Chargers converted like 5 or 6 4th downs in the 4th to stay alive. Missed 2 pointers, converted 2 pointers, TD as time expires to tie it, FG in OT to get another tie, then the drama around the FG vs kneels Bills/Chiefs was absolute offensive heroism for both QBs, and absolute failures for both defenses. 4 or 5 lead changes late, 28 points after the 2 minute warning. 13 seconds and all. Literally the only knock on the game is that neither team made it to the superbowl, which maybe lightens the impact slightly I know Super Bowl games have the bigger impact, so crazy games/plays/performances will mean more there, and neither of these games changed the Super Bowl outcome. So how will these games stand up over time?
Uncle Buck
It's hard to rank them all-time, but they were for sure some of the craziest games I've seen in a LONG time!
Bearerofnews
Weird that the 3 best QBs in the world were involved in the 2 games to... and Carr.
DefenseWinsChampionships
Those 2021-2022 playoffs were the greatest postseason games that I've ever watched (soo many 4th quarter comebacks and game winning drives). And that Chiefs vs. Bills game was probably the greatest Playoff game I ever witnessed. The SB was really good too but I've noticed throughout the years that the AFC/NFC Conference Championship Games are usually always more exciting than the actual Super Bowl (I think the long two week layoff before the big game kills a lot of both teams momentum).

I know it's hard missing the playoffs 3 years in a row but you'll get over it 😎

Chargers are a terrible organization at actually building a team. Such a waste, because Herbert is indeed a stud. Raiders will make the wildcard again as the Chargers finish once again on the 9-8 bubble. Hey, at least they are better than our little challenged brother the Denver Broncos. That offense is just waiting to flourish… Jerry Jeudy and Courtland Sutton can both put up Top 10 numbers with a stud QB. Fant can be a good TE too. Broncos should of been aggressive trading up for a QB. Now they will likely have to select one in a pretty weak class. If they can get Watson, that’s huge, but he may miss the season. Awsi Dooger
They lose value and begin to blend when neither winner won another game. I am not a fan of cupcake football. The end of the Bills/Chief game was horrendous strategy and execution by Buffalo. Essentially a giveaway. I have no idea how you reward a giveaway by championing it high on all time lists. I've followed the sport for 50+ years and was not impressed by either game, other than 4th down heroics by Herbert and Allen.
TecmoSuperJoe
Both exciting games, but personally once the scores start to balloon into the thirties, I start asking where's the defense.

Me too our defense was a joke in that game.

Whatever makes you feel better about your future with Josh McDaniel as your HC, and Carr as your QB 😆 Edited March 6, 2022 by Xenos
