THE DUKE
Looking at the draft as a whole in this thread, and I figure it could also be a landing pad for the many many mock drafts we will run through the simulators the next 7-8 weeks. Looking at 31, I think there are 29 players I would be happy with, and there will be other players not on this list almost assuredly going in the top 30. Just going through by position and not in order: Garrett Wilson Chris Olave Jameson Williams Drake London Yes, yes, I know there is a 0.0% chance we take a WR, but any of these guys would be a steal at 31 and will all be gone before then, so i'm keeping them here. Evan Neal Iken Ekwonu Charles Cross Trevor Penning Highly doubt we get any of the tackles, but these guys are all no brainers if there, even if we sign a RT in FA Zion Johnson Kenyon Green Tyler Lindenbaum That's my entire interior oline list that I would be comfortable starting day 1, and I won't be shocked if all go top 30 DeMarvin Leal Jordan Davis Perrion Winfrey Devonte Wyatt Any of these guys instantly bolster our interior dline rotation Kayvon Thibodeaux Aiden Hutchenson George Karlaftis Jermaine Johnson Travon Walker David Ojabo Can never have enough edge rushers. I'm not quite sold on Ojabo, but I could be made to drink the Kool Aid Devin Lloyd Nakobe Dean LB isn't a need at all, but these guys could be a clear BPA at 31 if still there. I'd rather take a shot on a small school athletic freak like Troy Anderson in rd 3 though. Andrew Booth Derek Stingley Sauce Gardner Kair Elam Trent McDuffie Any of these guys could potentially be a CB2 day 1 with CB1 upside, but it'd be nice if we could break them in as a CB4 and then step up next year into a bigger role. Kyle Hamilton Not a chance in hell he lasts until 31, but the value would be crazy. The guys I hope go top 30 to give us options, or even better, trade down 5-10 spots and still have options Malik Willis Matt Corral Kenny Pickett Sam Howell Carson Strong Desmond Ridder Kenneth Walker Breece Hall Treylon Burks Alec Pierce (some team overreacts to a combine freak every year) Isaiah Likely Trey McBride Nicholas Petit-Frere Daniel Faalele Sean Rhyan (I like him, but not at 31) Darrian Kinnard Drake Jackson Sam Williams Cameron Thomas Arnold Ebiketie Chad Muma Derion Kendrick Daxton Hill Jalen Pitre I think this year is going to have quite a few surprises in rd 1
THE DUKE
All this talk lately about defense, and then in my first mock, I only pick 2 defensive players, lol 31. Zion Johnson OG Boston College 63. Coby Bryant CB Cincinnati 107. Jeremy Ruckert TE Ohio State 135. Haskell Garrett DT Ohio State 144. Calvin Austin III WR Memphis 174. Hassan Haskins RB Michigan 208. Matt Araiza P San Diego State 224. Jack Coan QB Notre Dame
ochocinco4pres
Bryant will be interesting. The combine from what I have seen did not help him out. But his play was very good in Cincy. Will be interesting to see where he is valued come draft day.
THE DUKE
I think, as per usual, people are wildly over reacting to the combine. Nothing Bryant showed at the combine eliminates him from consideration or makes what he did on the field not translate.
INbengalfan
I would absolutely LOVE that draft. In fact, you go the direction I want to go (Zion, CB, TE, Austin) even when you pick different players. Totally agree witrh interior players at 31, although I'd add Darian Kinnard because I think he's more likely a RG than OT. My preference is that they sign James daniels, who can play OC and RG, so that if Linderbaum and Zion are both there at 31, they pick who they want, not who they HAVE to. I just think some corners will jump him because they tested so well. So not sure where he fits into drafts now. Will be interesting to see. THE DUKE
Maybe people will be stupid and we can get Bryant in rd 3?
Johnny Nix
There’s quite a few corners I like in this draft.

There are two positions I'd feel "ok" about going into the draft needing to draft a starter at 31. CB and IDL. I desperately want us to spend the FA money on OL so we don't have to reach if Zion, Green, and Lindenbaum are all gone. I'd rather have a surplus at OL than trot out the SOS in 2022 or reach for a 2/3 rd prospect in rd 1.

ochocinco4pres
McDuffie is an interesting one. Came into combine a high first right pick. Didn't test overly well. I would gladly take him.
