Nope but he’s a good player and I’m glad they found a way to keep this group together for at least one more season. Versatile, young, productive, and has been very durable during his career. Plus, unless something unforeseen happens (*clears throat* like a global pandemic), the cap should continue to rise at an accelerated rate. He’s not elite and he’s not getting paid 28 mil a year or 80 mil GTD like Watt so I’m not sure why people could even complain about this deal. I guess we were supposed to let him go and dip in the FA pool and sign Von Miller or Chandler Jones for $3-4 million. Or Open the pocket books for JPP? This is a good deal for someone that we have grown and knows whats happening. Maybe we were supposed to take the can't miss Edge in the draft at #26. Sign Landry. Get 9-12 sacks from him per year.
