So last week Disney barred the LA Times from screening their movies beforehand because they didn't like a story the LA Times published about the relationship between Disneyland and the city of Anaheim.  Now, the Los Angeles Film Critics Association, the New York Film Critics Circle, the Boston Society of Film Critics, and the National Society of Film Critics have banned all Disney films, which includes all Marvel, Lucasfilm, and Pixar movies, from their awards ceremonies.  Pretty much every top critic in the country has spoken out against Disney for this move.  Ava Duvarney, who directed A Wrinkle in Time for Disney that is due out in March 2018, seems to have sided with the critics as well.

Thoughts?  Could more critic or award organizations ban Disney?  Will Disney eventually cave?

You think Disney cares? They're about box office and merchandise dollars. Awards are nice for DVD and Blu-ray covers at most to them.

Disney will create it's own awards ceremony before they cave. It's how Walt would have done it.
