coors
What’s the best case scenario look like for the Vikings when it comes to Teddy and the QB position? what does it seem like the FO wants to do for the QB position short to long term? Start him after their bye week. Never understood all the hatred for Case. The Vikings are ninth in total passing yards, eighth in net yards per attempt and sixth in team passer rating. That’s not quite what you would have expected when starter Sam Bradford went down after Week 1. While Case Keenum deserves credit for his aggressiveness – which is not always a trait seen in backup quarterbacks -the combination of offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur’s scheme and the Vikings’ offensive line that have allowed them to be successful. Heading into the Vikings’ matchup with the Green Bay Packers, they were the NFL’s best team when throwing play-action passes, gaining 12.7 yards per attempt, according to Football Outsiders. Keenum was successful again against Green Bay. Much of the reason for play-action success is Shurmur’s use of the offensive line and their execution in both the pass and the run. http://www.1500espn.com/vikings-2/2017/10/film-review-play-actions-personnel-packages-driving-vikings-passing-game/ pretty good for a garbage backup... Teddy is still fairly young. He could certainly be the QBOF for MN assuming he has completely recovered.

Cheesehawk
Good for him. Always liked Teddy and thought he would be great. It's always an unknown with guys coming off of injuries like this though.. both physically and mentally. He has already taken a beating in his short career. Hope he bounces back and has a long career of great stats and 8-8 seasons.

vike daddy
Bridgewater hadn’t practiced since blowing out his left knee on Aug. 30, 2016, but according to backup quarterback Kyle Sloter, Bridgewater was getting some reps in practice with the first team. Sloter: “It looks like they’re trying to get him ready to play. Case is the guy right now, he’s been playing well, but I thought Teddy looked great.’’ http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2017/10/19/teammates-impressed-with-teddy-bridgewater-in-first-day-back/
