I'll never forget. Was in Atlantic City and laid money on them the DAY he went down. Never felt so dumb.

I did the same thing lmao Bet the Rams to win the NFC West that year about 3 hours before kickoff. Never seen a bet that paid 5 months later end so quickly.

Im betting big on Goff for MVP this season at 33-1. I think with a healthy WR core and Goff taking that next step he's looking at 40+ TD's 5000 yards and a top 2 seed in the NFC. You heard it here first.;)

Did you just get those odds this week?  Going to be in Vegas this weekend and I might be down to throw some money on that.

Everyone keeps hyping the Eagles, Bears and Packers. Don't get me wrong, they are good teams. But I just don't think they have the overall talent and depth that we do. The Saints and us should have another great, possibly contentious, NFC Championship game.

I get the Eagles hype - more so because their defense is consistent (even when it has a bad unit on it, they still manage to find a way that the other units in the defense are able to paper over the cracks).  But i honestly see the Saints and the Bears as our toughest competition this year.  I do think Trubisky takes a step forward, but he's still their Achilles heel - and I'm not convinced that Nagy commits to giving Montgomery 100+ touches right out the gate the way that Andy Reid would in that scheme.  The NFC North is going to be a bloodbath this year.  And I'm hopeful that with the Falcons healthier this season that that's the chink in the armor necessary to keep the road back to the Super Bowl from having to go through the Super Dome again because, while I don't think there would be any outright fixing going on, I feel like there might be a predisposed bias towards calls favoring the Saints (particularly at home) in such a playoff game after the perception of them "being screwed" last NFCCG.

Falcons I could see making a push with their defense healed up. I think the top 4 NFC teams are set with a few fighting to get in.

That's what DraftKings Sportsbook App has them listed at currently. Opened up at 60-1 and has been dropping drastically. (Located in NJ where sportsbetting is legal) Vegas may be entirely different depending on the book.

Could have had him at 60-1 a month ago :P

That's a steal. I took him at 33-1 which is still great value. He's getting the same odds as Lamar Jackson and worse than Garropolo.

Haven’t heard much of Henderson. Have y’all?!

Darrell? I've heard he's been an explosive offensive weapon catching balls out of the backfield, lining up as receiver and showing some juice as a runner. Will be interesting to see how this storyline develops into the preseason games.

I was gonna say, I feel like its been exactly the opposite. People are raving about him, and even McVay himself has praised him.

The biggest question is gonna be can he pass block?

I couldn't find any sportsbook in Vegas taking MVP prop bets.

I was able to watch the Dallas game this weekend. Few comments/takes from what I saw:

  • Natrez Patrick should make this team. He has play making ability and could be a real gem if he sticks. Got a shot at OLB and flashed.
  • Obo finally played and showed promise. Has the tools to be a good situational pass rusher. With him and Natrez behind Fowler, Clay and Ebukam I feel good about our pass rush.
  • Depth at corner is ridiculous. Coaching staff has some tough decisions to make. I feel good about our future if Talib retires and Peters looks to break the bank.
  • Henderson can ball. He made Jaylen Smith look like he was running in the mud on that wheel route. I see Alvin Kamara type player with Gurley next year.
  • Bottom 2 WR spots are really up for grabs. #14 and #3 showed flashes. JoJo Natson and Mike Thomas could be on the way out.
  • O-line scares the hell out of me. Demby is just bad. Any injuries to our starters and we could be in trouble.
  • Are there any FA ILB left? With Micah getting peck surgery and being out indefintely that means Hager will start next to Littleton. Not a huge fan of Hager althoug he made some good plays. We should of signed Zach Brown before the Eagles did. Position to watch as  Vets get cut. Curious which ILB could be on the bubble? Gotta look at Denvers camp notes for former Wade guys.

We aren't signing or trading for somebody to replace Kiser. He was likely only a two down player at most anyways. I'd wager it's either Hager or one of the two young guys that have shined in these two games so far. Keep in mind also that they've discussed Matthews playing some inside.

Allen I would be interested in. Between the two games, Patrick looked better at OLB.

I still think we end up signing someone off the street. Mason Foster would be my choice. The next two preseason games will tell us alot. If someone steps up, then we won't make the move. But if not, we will sign someone. Our window with this roster is too tight to risk being gashed up the middle all season on a UDFA or 7th rounder at ILB.
