GM Mock Draft 2022 - We're Back!

After swearing last year that I'd never do it again due to a busy schedule, we are back!

I'll be keeping all of you updated throughout the process in this thread. I'd love as much input as possible so we can all make these picks and or trades together.

Draft starts April 9th!

Anyone want to step up as an official assistant GM to help closely during the process? Let me know.

I love the trade up for Stingley Jr. If Kenyon Green falls far enough, I’d certainly be in on that deal to trade up as well.

In terms of 2nd round guys, Ebikete (sp) looks legit. He’s figuring out the game of football and I think he’s a rising star!

If I could justify us going with a pure RT, I’d love DF, I also like NPF as a Stanley contingency move. Chad Muma would pair well with Queen.

Beyond that, I’ve moreso got guys I like: Trey McBride, Jesse Luketa, Zac McCollum, the Tenn CB, the Stanford IDL, and that’s where I’m at for now.

Without looking at any charts, it feels like you got great value on that trade down.  Who was Denver desperate to get?

What other EDGE prospects were there when you took Enagbare?  I'm not sure how I feel about him.  He's very much the sort of guy we would have drafted in Ozzie's day, but I've never really been a fan of those sorts of power ends who are picked in large part because of run defense.  His athletic testing numbers being pretty mediocre don't help

Guys like Paschal were available bit it was too early.

Bonnito was a target but he went a few picks before. The only others I would've considered before Enagbare were Myjai Sanders and Sam Williams. The value was there for me as I have him ranked 44th.

I have the same thoughts as you. I believe if we drafted a guy like him, he could be coached up to the a great edge setter and pressure guy.

With the 100th Pick in the NFL Draft

The Baltimore Ravens Select:

James Cook RB - Georgia

I'm fully aware this may not be a popular pick in here but the value was too good to pass up. I believe he can help immediately on 3rd down passing plays and beyond.

With the injuries last year, I believe that a 3rd RB is a bit of a need, especially with all of our RBs returning from serious injuries.
