notthatbluestuff
Legion of Boom versus Brady, Evans, Godwin, AB, Gronk, Playoff Lenny etc. Edited April 2, 2022 by notthatbluestuff
AFlaccoSeagulls
We already saw the Legion of boom dismantle the 2013 Broncos and dismantle Brady. They would do the same to the 2020 Bucs. SkippyX
The game plays out like the 2014 Super Bowl. As time is running down Arians (or anyone not BB) calls a timeout and lets Carroll catch his breath. Beast Mode scores the TD and the Seahawks win a classic. Soko
I don’t see how it plays out substantially better than it did in 2014. Who was the biggest difference in those rosters, Browner?

I meant the 2013 roster compared to the 2014 roster, where they lost. Bucs were pretty much superior to that team across the board, except for the secondary. And it’s not like that was a weakness, either.

The Bucs got hot at the right time maybe but that 2013 Seattle defense dominated everyone they played, including statistically the best offense the NFL has ever seen. The 2020 Bucs were just another team.
DontTazeMeBro
I think I’d go with Tampa. Seattle wouldn’t be able to run on them. And the 2014 Seahawks were basically the same team and Brady had no problem with them with a less talented offense.
Hunter2_1
I’d go Seattle in a close one. I think they’d frustrate Tampa and do enough to win. Russell would also be on skates though like Pat did, but their defense will give him opportunities to win it
notthatbluestuff
Since it appears to be a question that splits opinion rather than being one-sided, I've added a poll.
BullsandBroncos
Seahawks rather handily. The elite defense almost always wins over the team with the elite offense
FrantikRam
That defense was just too good. I was rooting for the Patriots so I don't really care about this but it is worth pointing out for this thread since many are referencing that 2014 Super Bowl: Seattle lost a few players on defense to injury during that game. I really doubt they lose if that doesn't happen.
LieutenantGains
Seahawks probably win a close one but that 2013 Broncos offense is so overrated. I was saying that before the Super Bowl too.
evilpimp972
SF in 2013 was just as good as Tampa...
Chargers
2013 Seahawks >2020 Buccaneers> 2014 Seahawks>=2014 Patriots. If you took 2014 Tom on Tampa they'd have a stronger chance but with a older Tom, who while still great isnt exactly on his best form. Younger Tom was struggling in the 1st half against a much weaker Seahawks squad. I think if you if you give him a superior WR group ala 2020 Bucs he'd have found a way.
