Consensus Mock Draft - Post Combine - Pick 2 - Detroit Lions

Going to adopt the "1st choice, 2nd choice, 3rd choice" method. Meaning your first choice is worth 3 points, 2nd is worth 2, and 3rd is worth 1. Please do not select the same player multiple times in one selection. If you do, only the highest value will be taken for that and the lower duplicate votes will be discounted.

More options will be added in later picks. If after 20+ votes the selection is clearly one person as the favorite we will move on to the next pick. Otherwise It will be ~24 hours before the poll closes. If there are 2/3 options that are close, there will be a runoff. This is who you think they WILL pick, not who they SHOULD pick.

I think the Lions, like the Jags, are going EDGE with a small chance of them taking a QB. Pickett over Willis is just a gut feeling that Dan Campbell prefers him.

I went Walker, Ekwonu, Sauce

If the Lions have done their due diligence and select Thibodeaux, I would absolutely respect it. At this point, I'd rather go in a different direction.

My first choice here would be Thibodeaux. Those "off-field concerns" seems a bit overblown and he would be my 1st choice in this draft if it wasn't for Hutchinson. 
I have Jermaine Johnson as Edge #3 so he would be my 2nd choice. 
Not too sure about OL or CB being this big of a need so I would go with Willis as the 3rd option, although I personally wouldn't draft him in the top 10 picks.

Their OL is set for the next couple years. Their DEs and DBs not so much.

I'm hearing so many polarizing opinions on Thibodeaux that aren't even about the "off-field" concerns. Some guys are saying he's this spectacular pass-rusher but maybe he doesn't love football. Others (including PAC-12 coaches) have suggested he's not as good as some others may be making him out to be (even if you don't factor in the potential off-field concerns). 

I didn't pick Johnson but I am getting more and more comfortable with him for the Lions as a potential target. 

OL isn't an immediate need but Decker and Vaitai are both getting older (Decker is 29) and they have decent sized contracts. Adding someone like Neal or Ekwonu, play at either OT (if you can move Decker) or at RG (move on from Vaitai this year and Decker next year). We'd have the foundations for a top level OL for the next 5 to 10 years. 

CB hasn't been settled. Okudah could be something or nothing; we've had a bunch of UDFA guys that exceeded expectations but you can't count on them 100%. Daniel Jeremiah has Sauce as his #3 player on his board and he'd pair really well with Oruwariye. I don't think I'd fault Holmes if he took him and if he isn't sold on some of the other edge guys as impact day 1 starters.

KT has been a bit overrated the entire draft process. He's a Top 10 Prospect but I feel he's a little stiff than what was first thought months. I don't think he's going Top 5 on draft night.
