While I agree, I also don’t think he’s holding Rivera back. Rivera clearly has total control of the roster so what we’re seeing is his vision. Fix that and you'll stop seeing front office moves like hiring Rivera, Mayhew, Hurney, et al and firing guys like Kyle. It's like when you see a crappy QB trotted out game after game. At some point, when do you stop blaming it all on the QB and start blaming the coach who kept him on the roster and keeps playing him? See my point?
