So waiting for a new GM put the Jets in the least desirable scenario... had Texans gone OT (as Laxdad did in prior draft) or DB (the boys in the texans group, yes, wanted Hamilton), then the Jets would have rolled the dice on KT. But KT's antics will not be an issue for the Jets. Good luck. There will be absolutely no issues with the Jets pick, talent wise, personality wise, anywise. Classic safe pick here. The reason: LT has been a turnstile in Carolina for nearly a decade. It has consistently been the largest deficiency on the offense. 2022 is a building year for this team and lets get our 10+ year future OT a year to learn in front of Darnold. Plus, Ikem won't have to travel very far to get to Charlotte. If you can just check in every now and then, especially if you know your turn is coming.... Also, this is the round for major trades and with the holiday here, it's just a poor combination. Asking for patience, when needed .. through the end of the holiday weekend. Carry on. @Wpob is in Pacific time (of course) and he is OTC. I hope we have our pick by 11 EDT or sooner.
