How do people rate the 49ers' WR group without Deebo?

Yeah on paper and individually, pretty low. But they'll always perform above themselves due to scheming and matchups etc. Greater than the sum of their parts

It's why I think they take at least 2 guys in the draft at WR. one in the 2nd and one in the 3rd and maybe even one in the 6th.

My mock had you taking Wilson at (eight?) first pick. Obviously a crap shoot, but yeah, I think 2 WRs high for you

I think that's a horrible pick for Atlanta though. He doesn't fit what Arthur Smith likes in a WR. IF and big IF they go WR at 8, it's London. Not Wilson. Also, I think it's more likely they go EDGE or QB if Willis is there at 8 and then take guys in the 2nd and 3rd because Watson, Pierce, etc fit better than the earlier guys.

Lions?

Id probably take the Pats and Texans WR room over the lions

Reynolds, Chark, St Brown, Cephus...

It's crap, for sure.

I actually like the Lions WR group now with the addition of Jameson Williams.

Post draft I'd say the bottom five units are:

• Chicago (Mooney, St.Brown, Pringle)

• Atlanta (London, Edwards, Tate)

• Ravens (Duverney, Bateman, Proche)

• Packers (Watkins, Lazard, Watson)

• Colts (Pittman, Pierce, Campbell)

He took a pretty big step forward last year without JuJu, Ben's lack of arm strength hurt his production a lot too, imo.

He disappears alot when needed most and he drops ALOT of easy catches, especially on big plays.   Then, he will go out and make an amazing catch or 2 and everyone will just pretend that other stuff never happened.

Dionte is like a slightly more refined version of Brandon Lloyd.

The talent is there....but I dont entirely trust him to put it all together.

People blame Ben, and Ben did suck last year....but his flaws are still his own.
