Screw this dude. I would love at least 2 seasons but a whole season is good enough for me. Add a fat fine in there too Goodell.

I am typically very pro-player. These guys are humans, and it is really unfortunate how the NFL and other sporting leagues in general use and abuse these guys. It is one reason I like how our team has operated for the most part, this is a very pro player organization relative to the rest of the league.

With that being said, Jimmy's agent has been proven to operate outside of the rules of the league. I am simply saying that I believe this Brady to MIA incident to be indicative of how Jimmy's representatives have handled this whole ordeal this offseason.

I am not going to feel bad for Garoppolo for how this offseason has gone because I believe he and his representatives share a portion of the blame for the fact he has not been traded.

Kyle has said repeatedly that if Jimmy didnt have surgery, he would have been traded by now. That is just a part of the equation as I believe it's very likely there was more that has happened behind the scenes that we do not know about, given what we now know about Don Yee's communication with the Dolphins during the 2019 season.

The sad part is that if Garoppolo had just accepted a trade to washington, he would be a QB1 making 25m this season. As it stands, he is going to get cut the week before week 1 and will be lucky to make 5 million. It is hard for me to feel bad about this whole thing when that was a choice that Jimmy made.

To be fair, we dont know that for certain and there are a lot of assumptions I am making here. Washington may not have wanted Garoppolo over Wentz. I can say for certain that Garoppolo's surgery was announced and then Wentz was traded to Washington a few hours later.

Yeah, but I wasn't saying you or anyone else should feel bad for Jimmy. I don't. I just understand he and his representatives are doing the best for Jimmy, and that there is nothing wrong with that.

Whether it's the 49ers or Jimmy and company, there doesn't have to be a "bad guy".

Soooo the price for Jimmy was two 2nds, right? 😉

The biggest issue (for us) would be that I don't know how long that this takes to get resolved. There are a lot of splintering branches here.

NFL appeals, Goodell decides to suspend for a year. Watson accepts this and moves on, they could certainly trade for Jimmy.

However, let's say Goodell suspends him for a year, Watson sues the NFL, gets an injunction that allows him to play while the the case is being decided, and this isn't resolved until later in the season, well after we have cut Jimmy.

Or Goodell suspends him for a year (or is going to), they go to the negotiating table, settle on somewhere between 8-12 games and everyone walks away. Maybe they trade for Jimmy or maybe they roll with Jacoby for that period. I'm not sure.

Stafford dealing with arm soreness, possible tendon soreness. Sounds like right now they are just going to rest him, but that could be pretty big if it continues to be an issue.

There is a legit possibility that Jimmy would be the Rams QB if Stafford never heals.

Which would uhhhhh, be very bad.

I dont care about him on Seattle, but give him Cooper Kupp over the middle? Ugh.

How is it that the only two QB openings are going to be within our division???

We would never trade him there. I legit think we would just not cut him and hold on to him all year rather than trade him to the Rams.

Riiiiight I'm not saying we trade him there, but if we cut him, and Stafford cant play, then they would for sure sign Jimmy

This is somehow the only scenario I am ok with Garoppolo getting fukin 25 million dollars to be out backup

I thought I'd never see the day, smh

Anyone watch the hard knocks stuff from the lions last night? Duece Staley/Aaron Glenn was fun lol.

I love their dynamic. I can't help but root for the Lions to succeed with all the former players who are coaching for them. I'll always love Antwaan Randel El for throwing that TD against the Seahawks in '06
