Bengals defense needs to get some more love after this one.

Interesting that the Ravens seemed to put up a better fight on the road with their roster strength. NFL be like that.

Happy the Bengals won as Bills I detest the most. I still give the nod to the Chiefs though depending on Patrick Mahomes ankle. Right now I'd pick a SB b/t Chiefs & Cowboys.

NFC's QB landscape is rough. Based off 2022 and looking into 2023

1. Jalen Hurts

2. Geno Smith

3. Kirk Cousins

4. Jared Goff

5. Brock Purdy

Dak, Murray, Stafford, Jimmy G all have performance/injury concerns. Rodgers/Brady looked washed at many points last season. Fields/Jones have work to do as passers. Lance is a huge question mark and not even worth ranking

NFC is wide open for the taking! Purdy just needs to keep progressing and we will be fine especially with his rookie deal!

NFL 101 Awards were announced today. They give awards for both AFC and NFC coaches of the year. Their AFC coach of the year was Doug Pederson, and their NFC coach of the year was Brian Daboll. This is pretty significant, as, between the 2 coaches chosen by the 101 Committee as coaches of the year since 2011, one of them has won AP coach of the year.

Looks like one of Daboll/Pederson is most likely to win the AP Coach of the Year award.

All due respect to Dougie P, between the two I'm certainly going with Daboll. I would assume the Giants coach wins it

Sirianni not a finalist for Coach of the year - between Daboll, Pederson, Kyle.

Purdy a finalist for ROY (Chris Olave got jobbed).

Demeco finalist for assistant coach of the year.

CMC finalist for comeback player of the year.

Bosa a finalist for DPOY.

I still think CMC should be an OPoY finalist. He has better numbers that both Hill and Jefferson.

I get that there are only 32 of these gigs...but I'd have a really, really tough time dealing with Irsay if I were a head coaching hopeful.

And DeMeco looks to be the Broncos preferred choice as HC, I wonder where Payton goes to?

I think he waits it out then goes to Dallas when they get booted again next year.
