I feel $15-17mil is about the most I would pay DJ. Edit: Spotrac has his value at 4/$88 ($22AAV) PFF has him at $24AAV. Yea. Not paying that. 43M Posted May 7, 2022 Share Posted May 7, 2022 I will say that while Im against paying DJ big money...we likely will. Fortunately, they will have a year to assess him with the new QBs. If he steps up and shows more consistency, they will likely tag him next year while they look to extend him. If Pickens and Austin show enough, and Claypool can return to what he was early in 2020, I could see us letting DJ walk unless he shows more reliability. I think the biggest possibility is DJ gets tagged. Beyond that, Im not sure. If we let him walk next year, I could really see him signing with the Ravens.
