AJ Brown Tribute thread

Probably the best draft memory I will ever have was the Titans getting AJ Brown.

Wanted him at 19, got him as a steal, while the draft was in Nashville, while I was there for it, and bonus: he became a great player.

Loved his attitude and swagger.

Was a pleasant surprise. I just knew he was going to be added to the long list of disappointing WRs when he had a hamstring injury in training camp. But then that first game he showed who he was....

I appreciate the light he shined on the team.
But.......farewell #11

We are never going to know who’s fault it was

Deebo allegedly leaked that the Titans offer to AJ was over 20 million a few days ago

I think the Titans did offer a fare contract

But if AJ was never going to accept it what can you do

It just sucks because he was a stud

Im sure Vrabel is crushed because they were close

AJ played through so many injuries

Vrabel literally helped saved the young mans life when he was contemplating suicide

This sucks for everyone

It’s a business I get it

AJ was and is so special

But the Titans had a number that they felt they couldn’t go past

I don’t know

I’m stunned

I’m lost for words

I get it, I think

Vrabel comes from a NE culture where it’s team over me

I’m sure they could have figured it out

But we will never know how difficult AJ made it on the Titans with the lack of communication and what ever else

I love AJ I wish him the best

I can say confidently he probably won’t have the same success with Hurts as he would in Tennessee

Time to put our trust in Burks

  • 2 weeks later...

We know without a doubt AJ wanted out.  Didn't make contact for three weeks leading up to the trade after telling them he wasn't going to play on his rookie contract this year.  We know who's fault it was.  JRob did pretty well in the draft all things considered.  We should be able to compete for a SB and have a franchise QB in waiting.  Tannehill should be motivated and right now I don't care if AJ tears his knees up.
