Louis Friend
Nakobe Dean has a torn pec, per Twitter, and needs surgery, which he hasn't gotten yet. Recovery time is expected to be 3-4 months.

Superduperman
I guess I'd rather have Damone Clark at this point. Gotta wait with both of them and Clark is a more complete LB
Just Want A Title
Josh Pascal is a good player and will be a great addition to the locker room but passing on Jaquan Brisker is killing me.
Louis Friend
Bryan Cook off the board. Kerby Joseph my last top safety left.

Maybe Brad Holmes has his sites set on some small school prospects. Considering we have a huge hole at safety, this is a little baffling to me. I think they really like DeShon Elliott, also I think safety might not be a priority position for them or they feel there are guys later on. Edit: JT Woods, six interceptions for Baylor, ran a 4.36 Edited April 30, 2022 by Superduperman

Considering the contract they gave him and his injury history, there is no way that they can be legitimately counting on him to be a starter. Maybe not, or it's a combo of that and the other two things I said. Obviously they didn't rank an immediate starting safety as a higher priority than fixing their morbid pass rush
Just Want A Title
Honestly, I would have even preferred Troy Anderson over Josh Pascal. At least that would have addressed another hole in our defense.
