At LB I would have preferred Chenal given how legit Dean’s medical concerns evidently are, but prospect of reuniting Dean with Davis is admittedly enticing. Not the first time we’re getting a “1st round talent” who fell due to injuries, but with a mid 3rd I’m more than ok with that gamble. Certainly didn’t get the 2 best prospects, but Davis and Dean were their best players. I mean Davis finished 9th in Heisman while Dean was the leader and a stat stuffer. The best prospect (Jalen Carter) on that Georgia defense wasn't even in this class. He'll arguably be a top 5 pick next year and if wasn't for Will Anderson he would be the top defensive player in that 2023 draft right now. Kirby Smart, Dan Lanning and the whole Georgia defensive coaching staff deserve a ton of credit for their recruiting and also their player development. Truly ridiculous stuff.
