LETSGOBROWNIES
Can’t wait for folks to want to cut this dude when he misses his 3rd FG attempt of the year.
brownie man
Give him 3 years no matter how he does. You can’t just keep cutting kickers. Give one enough time to figure out our random *** stadium.

ReggieCamp
4th round kicker? Surprising. The nerds ran their kicker algorithm, and this guy popped out. Not really joking.
LETSGOBROWNIES
This is the only pick I’d question personally. We are impatient with kickers in general and a 4th is kinda rich for me for a kicker tbh. Whatever though, if he works out it’s a good pick. bruceb
Over the last two years he was 75 of 75 on XPs.
bruceb
Compared to what we have had, this sounds pretty good, except for the comparison to Cody Parkey: Draft Scouting Report Rating: 65.80 (Role player) Pro Comparison: Cody Parkey Strengths: Has not missed an extra point over the past two years. Has converted 84.6% or better of his field goal attempts over the past two years. Has a big leg, as evidenced by his success on field goals of 50-plus yards. Weaknesses: Did not kick off at LSU. Accolades: 2020: AP second-team All-America Converted 78.9% of FGs of 50-plus yards (15-for-19) https://www.cbssports.com/college-football/players/3121034/cade-york/

True, but playing in the south August-Late November is a whole lot different than playing in Cleveland by the lake in Dec and January. I don’t think being a good kicker in Cleveland is just ability, it’s knowledge of how to kick in that stadium. He needs to be given time, as in years, imo. You’re right, but he’s kicked in high pressure situations. He was the kicker their national championship season.

Wind off the lake, which swirls all kinds of weird arse ways, sub freezing and wet conditions, snow, all of the above, etc. It’s not a simple task.

Im not sure Im as concerned with the weather conditions of kicking in CLE as others. Sure it can get crazy for games, but its not like its every single home game the weather sucks. It's not about the weather sucking; it's about the wind. It's always windy, and the wind always changes.
