Going to be doing a 16 team tournament using the WIS website, which allows you to simulate play by play for current and historical teams.

After each round, i will reseed so the better seed plays the worst seed

I will post the box scores and general happenings for each game. I will provide my commentary on the game and also behind the scenes.

16. 1975 STEELERS

At

1. 1962 GREEN BAY PACKERS

Result: Packers win 23-16

Jerry kramer who had the ice bowl block kicked 3 fgs in this game, including a unneeded 35 yrd kick with 16 seconds left with the packers leading 20-16.

Franco harris had 182 all purpose yards, but Bradshaw wasnt very good and couldnt get pittsburgh far enough into packers territory

A 41 yard td pass from starr to dowler was the difference in this one

The champange remains uncorked as the Dolphins could not overcome the cocaine and hooker combo

Dallas wins 38-13

Aikman threw 4 tds including 2 to Alvin Harper, and Emmitt ran for 142 yards

Miamis passing stats were horrid

At

3. 2007 PATRIOTS

Result: 49ers win 20-10

The 2007 pats come up short again offensively in a big game

It would have been more of a blowout but Brady threw a td pass with 11 seconds left to make it more respectable

A classic steelers/raiders 1970s matchup

Pittburgh gets 2 teams into the round of 8 as they win 34-26 in a fun  shootout

Even though bradshaw threw a pick six and had a total of 3 picks, they won.

Oakland didnt do much better as Stabler threw 2 picks

Mvp of the game:

    Rec     Yds 20+ 40+ L TD
  '79 John Stallworth 6 155 4 1 73 1

Packers also get 2 teams into the round of 8 as they roll 31-13 in a true laugher

Don Beebe had 3 rec for 103 yards and a td

Favre had 3 td and 2 int which seems about right.
