The Quantum Realm is a MCU original, so there isnt a comic reference point for it. However, there is a lot of F4 stories that have to do with interdimensional travel. Most notably, The Negative Zone, which is probably the closest thing to the Quantum realm we get in the comics, albeit not all that close at all. They outsourced the upcoming What If?, but it sounds like they are bringing it all inside now and we're going to get a lot more stuff in the upcoming years on the animated side. Would love a Doctor Strange show, I know we are getting a lot of him in What if? But there is so much you can do with him off in his own corner. I doubt we'll ever really get it in live action.
