P_locniners
I’m a very big fan of this. My only hesitation is how long it Will take him to get back to 100% or close to it. We saw that it took him two seasons to get to basically pro bowl level with us after his last serious injury, but when he was healthy, he was lights out. Either way, he would a be a great mentor for our young CB’s at worst. At best, he arguably could be our #2 CB, but again, he would have to return to form and that isn’t seeming likely to me, this is win-win

Unfortunately for Verrett, even if he stays healthy next season and has a season similar to 2020, he will only get a one year deal. But the cap is increasing by a significant amount so maybe he can cash in on another 10M+ deal. Dude was dominant all camp last year and poised for another pro bowl caliber season SMH.

Tbh I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up retiring at some point during training camp. I hope he recovers tho and routing for the guy.
