I'll flip you Miami and Washington and agree on 6-11

I see 7-10 with the Fins & Eagles being the swing games that could take us to 9-8 depending on how their QB situations look by then.

I think people are sleeping on Washington. Not a fan of Wentz and their backfield isn't that deep but barring injury that roster is loaded.

RB: Gibson
WR: McLaurin, Samuel, Dotson
TE:  Logan Thomas, John Bates
OL: Leno, Cosmi, Norwell, Schweitzer, Roullier, Turner
DL: Sweat, Chase, Allen, Payne, Wise, Mathis
LB: Holcomb, Davis
DB: Fuller, Curl

This minus the Dolphins game. Tua is questionable but the rest of the roster is pretty legit.

Bad enough to be bored but not bad enough to grab a top 5 pick.

Last two at end of year are tough to predict because effort wains based on situation or people use it for evaluation of bottom of roster.

The two long losing streaks would be tough.  So would a 2-6 start.   The fan and media anger going into that Dolphins game would be palpable. Especially if Patriots or Cowboys games were bad losses.

It will be interesting to see where the Bears settle for over/under wins in Vegas. If it's 6.5 or less, I'll be tempted to bet the over. I think we beat the Lions twice and split with the Vikings. There are enough winnable games in the rest of the schedule to get to 7 or more. I'm probably in the minority camp but I think we beat the 49ers to start the season regardless of who is playing QB for them. Jimmy won't lose them the game, but he won't win it for them either. He's an average QB at best.

W 1: 49ers
L 2: at GB
W 3: Texans
W 4: at NYG
L 5: at Vikings
W 6: Commanders

L 12: at Jets
L 13: Packers
14: BYE
L 15: Eagles
L 16: Bills
W 17: at Lions
W 18: Vikings

9-8

If they go 9-8 with the current roster then our coaching staff are football gods and Poles is a genius.

I disagree. A 2-6 start won't surprise anyone.  I don't think the majority of fans and media expect us to be very competitive this year anyhow. Most of us understand what this year is truly about and it's not wins or loses.  It's more about where Fields is at in progression...how good is this staff.....can guys like Mooney/Kmet/Jaylon take it the next level.....are Borom/Jenkins long term answers......how the roster looks at the end of the year so the FO have a better idea of where the holes are at and how to fix them.

This is a trial period that all teams going thru during the 1st year of a rebuild.  Coming away with a winning season or even 8-9 would only be icing.

I agree. I thought about that and almost put them as an L too.  I know I wouldn't bet on us.

Yeah, everything would have to go our way for us to see 9 wins. If it happens great....cos like you said that means this staff is ungodly...but I just can't see it.
