There are no actual qualifications to be an owner, so I guess being in the building for two decades makes him practically an expert and at least he'll make his money the old fashioned way, (inheriting it) rather than by laundering fake Enron money or having a public utility pay for his private stadium. The best thing I can say about him is that he is not the attention whore his father is and doesn't think daddy's money entitles him to impose his inbred myopic worldview on people who just want to watch a team win football games. Doubt we go after him because our owner is a stupid idiot who don't take risks, but it sure would be nice to see Watson throw it to Hopkins, Dez and Fuller (in the slot) Watch him sign with the Patriots. LOL Washington pretty much said they were out (Doctson, Quick, Richardson, Crowder).. even tho they should be in Eagles are not out because of $$$ because he could always take a low deal just to get back at Jerruh (with the defending champs no less) Edit: Giants make most sense because force more single coverage on OBJ + still have Shepard. I don't know, his production fell off a cliff. He looks slower, no explosion anymore. I think the team is better off with a cheaper Ellington and Coates. Technically, we play Cowpokes 2X this year If Dez was coming here to not be a distraction (hard to predict) and was willing to accept playing a 2nd / 3rd role (don't think that would sit well) + was willing to play at discount (hard to see that as well), I would be all for it. I'm actually warming up to the idea. Dez lacks the explosion he once had and really can't create separation like he used to, but he's still a pretty good route runner and one of the better guys at grabbing contested passes. He is what Andre Johnson was his final year in Houston - a guy who can go for 50-70 passes for 600-900 yards, and might have a blow-up game once in a while. For the right price, I'm down. Hopkins/Bryant/Fuller would have to be the best trio in the league. 1 year deal at whatever dollar amount. It doesnt matter to me, we have more than we will be able to spend. I think he really wants to make the Giants work though, I still wouldnt be surprised to see him end up there. He could be the replacement for Bmarsh before its all said and done I'd be nervous to have him but we do have guys like JJ and Hopkins to kinda keep him in line.
