MikeT14
I always like these because of the incredible optimism. The league leader in sacks last year looks to be the Steelers at 55 and you have us beating that pretty handedly at like 58? And that just seems to include the leaders so we’re probably mathematically pushing low 60s edit: Nevermind there are guys on this list that will barely sniff the field Carson sets career bests (which, I dunno, maybe?).

It’s hard to do at first bc you want to think a guy can get a TD or 2, a sack or 2 ints for example even if they’re #3 or 4 on the depth chart or based off what they did last year. It’s very unlikely to happen as you said. I think with Wentz if he stayed healthy in 2017 & 18 he would’ve put up better stats than I posted but injuring his knee & back in successive seasons kept him from those types of stats. I did go off Wentz’s 2018 stats and projected if he had played 17 games. That’s how I got to the stats I did. The 33 TDs in 2017 does seems like an aberration for Wentz & it was done in just 13 games; that’s 2.5 TDs a game, I agree with Lavar that that is an aberration. lavar703
I’ll go out on a limb and say Payne has a monster season. Like 13-14 sacks and then they’ll franchise tag him for two seasons and let him walk for nothing.

Then we’ll franchise tag him next off-season. 😂
aceinthehouse
Washington is making playoffs this year! I've got Wentz throwing for 5,477+ passing yards & breaking Peyton Manning's single season record in 2022. Sometime later today, I'm creating a thread on why I know for a "fact" Washington is making the Playoffs this year. I've done some research & will unveil it today. Without giving too much info away? Let's just say, the info I have is not only startling & eye opening? I'll give you a hint.... It's based off of patterns I have recognized going all the way back to 1980. It will blow your mind. I'm not guaranteeing a Division title cause the pattern doesn't guarantee that....(although I know it won't be Dallas) But it does guarantee a Playoff spot. And Nobody has seen this pattern, but me. ( I had to tell my buddy about it this weekend) He's the only one that knows... Let me put it to you this way..... 😎 I would bet everything I own, that we make the playoffs this season. turtle28
Over/Under Sacks for Chase, Sweat & Allen: Chase: 7.5 sacks Sweat: 6.5 sacks Allen: 6.5 sacks I say over for each, what say you?

Sometimes I think your wild posts are a test to see if anyone might know some certain point in them that’s outlandish someone will recognize. For example, the most If Wentz throws for nearly 5447 yards he’ll tie Peyton Manning’s single season record for most passing yards in a season. Did you want someone to recognize this in your post? The most per average per game that Wentz has ever thrown in a season was 279.5 ypg in the 2017 season when he was playing at an MVP level before tearing his ACL in week 13. If he did that in 17 games he’d finish the season with 4,752 yards. So, it’s very unlikely he throws for near 5,000 yds IMO but given our weapons he possibly can get near 5,000. That being said, Wentz has never played with a WR w/ Terry’s talent level & if Samuel stays healthy and/or Dotson & Dyami develop into what they can that we could have as near a dynamic a passing game as we did in 2017 with Kirk, DJax, Garcon, Reed, Crowder & Chris Thompson. Still, near or over 5,000 yards for Wentz this year or in a Washington uniform seems unlikely.
turtle28
I flipped BRob & Gibby. Made BRob our main ball carrier/bell cow & Gibby into more of a weapon like in a Debo Samuel role w/ 150 carries & 40 receptions.

I cut the sacks down to 45, seems more reasonable. I took a few away from Chase as I think at most he plays 12 games & probably won’t be like himself until the final 5-6 games. Took one away from Fuller & Hudson. Edited August 16, 2022 by turtle28
