Like, even if you’re the Chargers with Herbert, you’re better off decapitating the Chiefs by taking Mahomes. Same with maybe the Cardinals/49ers taking Stafford off the Rams. Or the Ravens taking Burrow. Road to the division title gets easier. So I’d definitely take Allen. Bills are the big dogs right now in the AFCE, and Allen’s an upgrade on Mac. Division’s a cakewalk for NE after that move. Cowboys fans rejoice knowing no one else in the division has a QB. For the past ~10 years or so the answer for me would have been Fletcher Cox. Now? I dunno. One of the WRs maybe? I think ultimately I would go with Chris Jones. I think Kelce/Adams are better players than Chris Jones, but I think Chris Jones is a bigger upgrade from what we currently have on the IDL then Kelce/Adams would be to our already pretty good receiving options. 2022 is kind of a wasted season for the Falcons.
