This hasn't been talked about much (unless I missed it...).  What do you gentlemen think of this acquisition?

The player who has bounced around with now his 6th team in his 4 years in NFL camps and is yet to play a regular season snap in a real game? That guy hasn't been talked about much? The biggest news about him is that he got his own thread on FootballsFuture.com.

My guess is he's a guy they had some mild interest in the year he was drafted. Probably figured it wouldn't hurt to bring him in and see if there's anything there. If he doesn't show much in OTA's and minicamp, he could be gone before TC starts. Scouting report is he's an athletic guy who's never been all that productive. https://www.nfl.com/prospects/chris-slayton/3200534c-4148-3638-237c-7cbfd55f4a97

Mark this one down as 'way over thinking it'.

1.) The Packers have 10 DL on the 90-man roster with the Slayton add and have averaged 8 going into camp under MLF.

2.) The Packers have 15 OL on the 90-man roster and have averaged 16 going into camp under MLF.

3.) Slayton has been issued number 60.

4.) Could the Packers be thinking of switching Slayton to the OL? Maybe they like his traits as a block, wouldn't be the first player to switch from the offense to the defense for the Packers.

I'll back up pugs. Usually when you see waiver claims during the year it's a somewhat real player. To some degree.

Off season it's a guy kicked off a 90 man roster. But it's announced the same. I get it but yeah this is a nothing move when it's May.

And now, starting at RG for your 2022 Green Bay Packers...

But who knows, he could latch on but DL is a tough competition right now. If it is O-line then he's got a legitimate PS spot if they want to take a year to develop him.
