Kiltman
Should be one of our few classic style shows, excised to see how big they go with it. Happy to finally get to see Starfield.
Jakuvious
I don't play the games myself, but the Riot partnership seems like a pretty big deal, right?
Kiltman
thank god the Forza bit is over, every time they give them stage time it’s like “wow this looks amazing, would be cool to see this kinda tech be put into a type of game I’m actually going to play”

Kiltman
Starfield looks different than I thought but still super ambitious. No Man’s Sky + Bethesda RPG, over a thousands explorable worlds.
Kiltman
Xbox should’ve probably tempered things with leading with this just just being for the next 12 months. Padding in the middle of the show. Solid show but not a killer one they could’ve used with Starfield and Redfall slipping into the first half of next year. If they could’ve landed a bigger 3rd party game for the fall it would’ve helped their Gamepass lineup for more people, but they tend to iron those out later in the cycle. Excited to finally play Persona after it being so hyped up.
rob_shadows
I was underwhelmed. I'll definitely play starfield, the high on life game looks like goofy fun and I'll definitely play Diablo 4... Other then that meh... Nothing really caught my eye. Sucks that the absence of Avowed and hellblade 2 essentially confirm they are still over a year away. Sucks that the absence of Avowed and hellblade 2 essentially confirm they are still over a year away. I wish they branded it going in as the next year for Xbox show. Would’ve really checked expectations. Though looking back on it I think it set up a pretty good year on Xbox with Gamepass, launch exclusives and the 3rd party games like Hogwarts that are coming everywhere. Starfield, High on Life, Persona 5 Royal, The Case of Benedict Cox, A Plague’s Tale Requiem, Flintlock, Redfall, Ereban. Cocoon (will always trust anyone who was a part of Limbo) Pentiment (though was disappointed in the visuals) are all day one plays on Gamepass. On top of stuff like Somerville, STALKER 2, Replaced and maybe Atomic Heart that weren’t at this one. Madden when it goes into the vault in February next year like usual too. Wo Long looked crazy, Nioh / Bloodborne gameplay will probably make it pretty popular. I typically don’t bother with those sweaty combat RPGs, but I’ll at least try to push through the difficulty if it is soulsy. Ara too for PC, though I try to shut my computer down after working on it all day. Rarely use it to play. I think I’m going to buy Diablo this time, looks awesome. That, Hogwarts and Gotham Knights on a sale (need to see more good stuff from them) will probably be the only out of pocket buys along with Pokémon on switch til next June. Big swing will be when Ragnorak comes out for PS5, will be a large drop to get them both ha. Otherwise good light year again for out of pocket cost. Kiltman
Also I totally forgot that the Activision deal is supposed to be done by the end of q2 next year and reportedly been moving quickly. So Diablo IV could launch on Gamepass if it's 1st party then. That would also add Call of Duty: MWII (unless the sony marketing deal bars them) and they'd probably add monthly rewards to Gamepass ultimate for Overwatch 2 like they have other games.
