How did he play in Baltimore? He looked on the brink of breaking down in his last year in Denver.

Loved him in his prime.

Was awesome in 2020. Signed a 2 year extension afterwards and literally never played another snap lol

Kind of interesting to see a player sent packing with an "injury settlement".  Feels like teams usually find a way to avoid even dealing with the injury factors, and just disappear them when they need to these days.  So as to not impact their salary cap situation negatively.

to be fair, Wolfe has been battling injuries every single year since 2015. He was good for about 10 games a year in DEN and I dont remember hearing much about him in BAL. Its probably for the best if he thinks about retiring for his own personal health to avoid being one of those guys who cant walk or bend over when they are 45.

I feel like he has spent more time rehabbing injuries away from the field than he has being 100% on it through his career.

It's not really that uncommon way to jettison unwanted players who would otherwise be placed on IR. Without an injury settlement, a team is obligated to rehab and give him medical treatment until he is healthy enough to pass a physical. Injury settlements are used by teams to avoid this commitment for a player they don't plan on keeping anyway, in exchange for a lump sum (usually slightly more than he was set to receive over the course of the estimated recovery time).
