Clark/Wharton/Jones/Dunlap can get after a QB and Karlaftis won't hurt. Wharton's big issue has been run defense. With improved LB play and three legit DE, we can afford some lean toward pass rush up the middle. Nnadi is still there for run distances. More on Wharton. The guy is freakishly athletic but came into the league with zero skills. https://www.arrowheadpride.com/2022/8/3/23290894/chiefs-defensive-tackle-tershawn-wharton-finally-feels-like-he-belongs Edited August 4, 2022 by onejayhawk
onejayhawk
The pace of daily commentary has slowed. This was the third day in pads and it was moved inside, initially, because of the weather. Thursday will be lighter. https://www.arrowheadpride.com/2022/8/3/23291178/chiefs-training-camp-observations-from-august-3https://chiefswire.usatoday.com/lists/kansas-city-chiefs-training-camp-takeaways-day-7-2022/https://chiefswire.usatoday.com/2022/08/03/kansas-city-chiefs-training-camp-injuries-absences-day-7-skyy-moore-carlos-dunlap-rashad-fenton/ A couple of things on 1st round pick George Karlaftis. The team needs him to step in and play starter minutes.https://chiefswire.usatoday.com/2022/08/03/kansas-city-chiefs-entire-defensive-line-embracing-rookie-george-karlaftis/https://www.arrowheadpride.com/2022/8/3/23288569/the-chiefs-rookie-de-george-karlaftis-is-absorbing-all-the-knowledge-he-can
onejayhawk
Light work on Thursday. Some relatively new names who were getting A-team work are Cornell Powell and Jaylen Watson. https://chiefswire.usatoday.com/lists/kansas-city-chiefs-training-camp-takeaways-day-8-2022/https://www.arrowheadpride.com/2022/8/4/23292711/chiefs-training-camp-observations-from-august-4 Edited August 5, 2022 by onejayhawk
BigTrav
Quote Running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire took the first rep during the run period, followed by Jerick McKinnon, then Ronald Jones and finally Pacheco. McKinnon and Jones have seemingly been swapping their order depending on the day. I think our RBs are ones to avoid in fantasy this year Good to hear Hardman was balling yesterday. Caught everything. Looking forward to seeing Moore this pre-season and regular season. I think he's going to go off.

There is a good chance he gets some GL work. I just saw some writer comparing Skyy Moore to Deebo Samuel. That's not completely off base. Remember how Hill worked into the offense. He played mostly slot but also some RB. J Edited August 5, 2022 by onejayhawk

I still think Jones gets cut, CEH gets the bulk with Pacheco getting specific packages and McKinnon backing up. I think CEH and Pacheco can be good values with where I've seen them going. Chiefs_5627
I knew he was working out but I didn't realize he was losing some lbs. Hopefully he can get out in front of some of those speed rushers before they turn the corner.

Since he wanted badly to be the LT, that had to sting. Here are the daily comments. On thing that is interesting is that Mike Danna has occasionally moved inside and Chris Jones has played from outside. They seem to be moving DL around a lot more this year. https://www.arrowheadpride.com/2022/8/6/23294868/chiefs-training-camp-observations-from-day-9https://chiefswire.usatoday.com/lists/kansas-city-chiefs-training-camp-takeaways-day-9-2022/https://chiefswire.usatoday.com/lists/kansas-city-chiefs-training-camp-day-9-highlights-videos-clips/ Edited August 7, 2022 by onejayhawk

onejayhawk
This article raises a good point. Who is significantly better now than two weeks ago. Their stock up--Mike Danna, Skyy Moore, Isaiah Pacheco, Justin Watson, OB Jr and JuJu. Looking down--Josh Gordon, Ronald Jones, DeAndre Baker. On the up side I would add Turk Wharton and Joshua Williams.https://chiefswire.usatoday.com/lists/kansas-city-chiefs-stock-watch-training-camp-skyy-moore-isiah-pacheco-josh-gordon-ronald-jones/?itm_source=parsely-api Are we missing any? Are there any sliders to consider? What about under the radar ST guys?

As his base position, yes. Spotting him there occasionally is a different matter.
Chiefer
Geron Christian got first team nods at RT today, Kennard at 2nd team RT with Wylie at 2nd team RG A fluid situation, but the beginning of the end of Wylie at RT? He got whipped pretty hard by Karlaftis yesterday and ‘demoted’ today Also Karlaftis had a sweet strip sack on Mahomes but i cant find any video. Carlos Dunlap “demolished” the 2nd team OL in limited action Edited August 7, 2022 by Chiefer
