pf9
We are totally entering a whole new era in CFB history. Up until this point, the Pac-12 and its predecessors never shared any state in their footprint with another football-sponsoring conference classified as a power conference - either the other current conferences in the Power 5 (counting the Big 8 and Big 12 as one continuous entity) or the defunct conferences the Big East and Southwest - because of the locations of the Pac's teams relative to other power conference teams. Now soon, the Pac will be sharing TWO of their states with another Power 5 conference - Utah with the Big 12 and California with the Big Ten. The game being played at SoFi would be like Oklahoma-Texas in which the tickets would be equally split between the two schools and their fans split along the 50-yard line. UCLA attendance is always lackluster & fair-weather (big name opponents come to play, etc) but to be fair, it's been 100°+ out here all wkd and this was a noon game. Might have had more ppl in the stands had this been a night game.
