The team didn't publicly disparage him.Ā There was a leak that there was a riff between the staff and Mayfield and that they thought his maturity was an issue.Ā Stop creating story line that isn't true. You think that leak was intentional baselessly because that fits what you want to say happened.Ā There's nothing to back that up, and there's no logic behind the Browns doing that. He definitely has his warts but he has absolutely showed that he can be a starting QB in this league. He needs to rediscover who he is as a player/leader and hit the reset button. What is going to be insufferable are the people/media going bonkers if he plays well for CAR after doing nothing but scream about how bad he is for the past year.
